Last night was our first Girls Circle group! We can’t wait to see more of the fun activities and projects they do!
The purpose of Girls Circle is to encourage the development of strength, courage, confidence, honesty, and communication skills for girls. Girls Circle promotes resiliency and healthy relationships in teens by using research-based, gender responsive circle program models and best practices.
We are so excited to see this program grow! If you know any teens, who live or go to school in Pasco, and want to be part of a group of powerful young women focused on developing their strength, courage, and confidence contact us at 582-9841.

Remember the feeling you had as a child, sitting around the tree, excitedly opening gifts, creating memories and sharing the joy of the season? You can help bring that magic and cheer to a family this year by being a Christmas sponsor!
DVS’ Christmas sponsorship program provides an opportunity for caring individuals, families, businesses and community groups to personally make a difference for a struggling family during the holidays. Last year the generous Tri-Cities community was able to help us sponsor 32 families — this year our goal is 40 families! Help us put the magic into Christmas by being a sponsor — learn more here.

The DVS staff had a great time at this year’s Safe Kids Saturday! It’s was a beautiful day, and a great opportunity for us to get out in the community. We enjoyed visiting with our supporters and providing resources to anyone who wanted to learn about them. It was great to see everyone out and involved, we hope to see you all again next year.
