DVSBF encourages former victims/survivors of domestic violence to please apply for any job they would otherwise qualify for.
We Currently Do Not Have Any Job Openings:
Employment Requirements:
1. Pre-Employment Criminal Background Checks:
In considering an applicant for hire, DVSBF may investigate the applicant’s background. The investigation may include, but is not limited to, inquiries into the applicant’s references, credit and criminal history. A charge, arrest, or conviction (Criminal History) may but will not automatically bar an applicant from employment.
2. Pre-Employment Drug Screening Testing:
All selected applicants who are offered employment may be required to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test, conducted at DVSBF’s expense, to be considered for and offered employment.
3. Pre-Employment Department of Motor Vehicle Driving Record (DMV):
All selected applicants who are offered employment must possess a positive pre-employment DMV Driving Record. Such applicants must also possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License during employment.
4. Revocation of Job Offer/Termination of Employment:
Where an applicant fails any of these requirements, DVSBF may revoke a job offer or terminate employment.
DVSBF strives to provide equal opportunity to all employees, and applicants for employment, without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, disability and any other characteristic protected by law.
