The Vigil

The 17th Annual Vigil will be held 6:30 pm, Thursday, Oct. 3rd, 2019 at John Dam Plaza, .
Friends and family members are welcome to come at 6:00 pm to memorialize and decorate the silhouettes of their loved ones.
Music and blessing of the Dia de Los Muertos altar at 6:30 pm.
Each year DVSBF hosts a vigil to raise awareness and honor survivors in our community. This year the event will feature 40 life-size silhouettes representing the 45 victims killed as a result of domestic violence in our community since 1998.
Since 1998, 31 women, 9 men, and 6 children have been murdered as a result of domestic violence in the Bi-county area!
