Monetary, Gift Cards and Used Cell Phone Donations:
Donations that hold monetary value serve a great purpose to our agency. They provide us with necessary flexibility as we meet the daily needs of our clients. We are happy to accept monetary donations at our business offices located at: 3311 W. Clearwater Ave., Suite C-140, Kennwick, WA 99336 (located behind Dept. of Licensing, facing Kennewick Ave.).
Make a Donor Designation:
There are three simple ways you can donate to DVS through payroll deductions:
- Through United Way - write “Domestic Violence Services of Benton & Franklin Counties” down as the designated agency;
- WA State Employees - write “Domestic Violence Services of Benton & Franklin Counties” down as the designated agency;
- Federal Employees - use federal campaign #53087 to designate DVS.
Furniture and Household Items:
As our clients take the reclaiming steps of building a safe and new life for themselves and their children, they often find themselves stuck with the need to funish their new homes. Beds, furniture, tables and other household items fill a great need for these families and we appreciate your effort in making a donation of this size. Please contact our shelter staff at 582-9841 to coordinate drop-off for donations of furniture and household items.
Clothing Items:
In an innovative and collaborative efforts, New Beginnings Thrift Shop (1016 Lee Blvd., Richland) accepts clothing donations on behalf of DVS; This exciting opportunity allows us to dedicate our time our clients and their children while simultaneously giving them the freedom to shop, without charge, for their personal and unique needs. Hours: Mon. – Fri. 10a – 5p; Sat. 10a – 4p; Closed Sun.

- Gift cards from Walmart, Target, etc. are always welcome and provide great flexibility!
- Used cell phone. We collect used cell phone for use as 911 emergency cell phone for clients and recycle unneeded cell phones to support shelter services.

Domestic Violence Services of Benton & Franklin Counties is a non-profit organization registered with the Secretary of State Charities Division. All donations are deductible to the extent provided under the law. No good or services are provided by the organization to the donor in return for the donation.
