Transitional Housing
As of February 2011, DVS now has two transitional housing units for victims of domestic violence and their children. DVS anticipates having two additional units in the winter of 2011/2012.
Transitional housing offers the opportunity for families leaving the shelter to have an affordable housing option as well as intensive case-management and on-going supportive services for up to 24 months.
All DVS services are free of charge and confidential.

DVS provides services to any victim of domestic violence regardless of immigration status, race, color, religion, disability, pregnancy, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, age, ethnicity, income, veteran status or any other basis prohibited by law.
