Earth Day

Save the earth from chemical waste, and provide safety & peace of mind to isolated victims of domestic violence!

DVS is kicking-off it’s annual community-wide campaign on April 1st to collect used and unwanted cell phones in connection with Earth Day 2011.

The donated phones are used as emergency 911 phones by victims or recycled.  All donated phones are confidentially and securely cleared of personal information and only need to contain the phone and battery. Proceeds from the recycled cell phones will go to support victim service programs.

You can drop-off your used cell phone at any of the following locations:

Domestic Violence Services (3311 W. Clearwater Ave., Suite C-140, Kennewick); all Mid-Columbia Libraries; all area Yokes; all area police departments;  Costco; and New Beginnings Thrift Shop located 1016 Lee Boulevard in Richland.
